Operation Chip Drop was a success! We deployed an Army Special Forces (SF) unit to Bagram Air Base. I handed the Middleswarth morale snacks off to one of the troopers who is from Hershey, PA. He told me he'd be able to get them to some troops out at an outer Forward Operating Base (FOB). I gave him my e-mail address and asked for some photos as the chips make their way out to the troops. Keep these folks in your prayers. They are training Afghani soldiers...many of whom have recently turned their rifles on their trainers. On behalf of the troops, mahalo nui loa for your very thoughtful gift...the PA troops will love this taste of home out in the Stan.

They have such mature pallets!...or...do they just enjoy chewing on the corner of the bag? No. It has to be the chips.

Let's start off by saying that my whole family LOVES birch beer and Middleswarth chips...ANY flavor. We have family down south and out west and what they want for special occasions is your snacks because NOTHING compares! The whole family enjoys whatever I bring home made by you!!! We even are training our son Cameron to be a proud sponsor of Middleswarth Bar-b-q chips!

A very interesting potato chip was found in a 99 cent bag of Middleswarth potato chips bearing the UPC code of 74931 11005. Judy found this wondrous chip and emailed us the following photo.

As you can see, there is a perfect cross in the middle of the chip. Judy saved the chip and assured us that it is in a very safe place right now. The bag that housed the chip is shown below.

The ever rare heart chip made it's way to our facility. The bad news...I accidentally crushed it under a pile of paperwork on my desk...now it is a broken heart. We usually place these rare finds in our chip museum...but not this time. It was a heart-breaking experience. We will always remember the chip in it's pure unbroken form.

I wanted to share with you a funny story that happened to my brother in Florida.  I sent him a big supply of his favorite BBQ and Jalapeno chips to enjoy.  Because of his job, he travels a lot so several bags of chips were in his car.  He went out to get into his car only to find the window smashed out.  He quickly assessed the situation and discovered they did not take any money or electronic equipment.  They did however, relieve him of all his chips.  When he called to tell me the story he was heart sick.  He said all the items were replaceable, but the chips were priceless.  I promised to mail more, but I thought you should be on the lookout for anyone from Miami FL ordering chips as you probably have a new customer/thief.  

I hope you have a good chuckle.  Although it was a costly venture, I pictured the whole scenario in my mind and can't help but to laugh.

I always have them waiting for my cousins when they get home from a tour in Afghanistan for a year they always request to have them waiting. I have 3 cousins that are in the active military so we buy a lot of your product for them and their friends. So thank you and you make a really good product, Thank you.

I'm from Mifflinburg, PA and have served in the US Air Force for over 16 years.  I'm currently deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan. I'm writing today to let you know that a box of mini-bag Middleswarth chips (sour cream & onion, BBQ, plain) somehow made its way to Afghanistan. Growing up in
Mifflinburg, my family like many others in the area, grew up on your chips. I've lived away from home for many years and find it a food that I very much miss. When I visit my family, one of the first places I go is to the Mifflinburg Sub Shop for a ham & cheese cosmo and accompany it
with a bag of Middleswarth sour cream & onion chips!  --there's just no place like home...nor the flavors of home!

So, I'm writing to say Thank You! I don't know who the box was sent to, but it was shared & some of the chips made it to me. You just don't know how that lifted my day.  Thanks so much!

I was born and raised in Hazleton, Pennsylvania and when I was 17, I moved South. People laugh at my accent, think it is funny when I put lemon in my tea, do not know what soda is, hat Pepsi, sell other brands of chocolate that is not Hershey and most of all...have no idea what Middleswarth chips are! I am so alone without my favorite chips :(

Whenever I travel out of the area visiting friends, I bring them a care package including items that are local to myself. Your chips always make it into the bag! Hello, just wanted to shoot you an email. I'm from Harrisburg, PA where the Middleswarth chips are a staple at every meal! I'm currently stationed here at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. I had my wife ship me 3 big bags of the Kettle Cooked Barbeque chips to my location. I put them out for my soldiers who are from Mississippi, Philly, Maine, Florida, and Kansas. The exact words that came out of every one of their mouths were, "WOW, THESE ARE LITERALLY THE BEST CHIPS I EVER TASTED!!!". All I said in response was, "TOLD YOU!". My family is shipping more and I might just make a bigger order through your website. But again, thank you!
